Second Round of Public Consultation
The ISO is seeking further feedback on revision 1.1 of the Guideline for Access and Connection to the NWIS.
Following the first consultation round, the ISO amended the Guideline to include:
- minor improvements to consistency and readability;
- a new Chapter 6, Study Philosophy and Guiding Principles; and
- a new Chapter 8, CPC Guidelines.
The ISO has published the first-round stakeholder submissions on its website and will respond to each stakeholder separately.
The Guideline provides a practical overview of the access and connection framework for the North-West Interconnected System (NWIS). It is not a regulatory requirement under the Rules, so no formal decisions are required.
The indicative consultation process timeline is as follows*:
